The 2022 season has arrived and the fifth official NASCAR weekend is here. It begins on Saturday, March 19 as drivers take to the Fr8Auctions 200 Truck Series race at 2:30 PM ET on FS1 in Hampton, GA.

Then following the race, the Xfinity Series takes on the Nalley Cars 250 on the second race of a doubleheader at 5:00 PM ET on FS1.

NASCAR Race Recap: Chase Briscoe held on at Phoenix Raceway en route to his first career victory in the NASCAR Cup Series. Briscoe finished Stage 1 in second place and Stage 2 in eighth place.

Briscoe led 101 laps of the 312-lap race. William Byron and Ryan Blaney each won stages, but could not pull it off as there is a clear youth movement taking place in NASCAR’s top level.
