Breaking: Former Big Ten Basketball Star Dead At 32

A former Big Ten men’s basketball star has tragically passed away at the age of 32.

Dylan Talley, a former standout guard for the Nebraska men’s basketball team, has died, according to his coaches.

The former guard played at Nebraska from 2011-13. He was a junior college transfer and came off the bench his first season, averaging 8.9 points, the most among bench players in the conference. Talley started as a senior and averaged 13.7 points per game, leading the Cornhuskers.

Talley played overseas in Germany and the Czech Republic.

Doc Sadler shared the tough news on social media.

“So sad to pass the news that former Husker Dylan Talley passed away tonight. He was a person that would give you the shirt off his back. LOVE YOU MY MAN,” the Huskers coach tweeted.

Our thoughts are with Dylan’s friends and family members during this difficult time.

May he rest in peace.
